Summer School 2025: A Range of Programs to Boost Skills and Confidence

Horizon International School offers three exciting and fun-filled summer programs designed to help students build essential skills, boost confidence, and have a blast. Whether you want to enhance communication, develop critical thinking, or engage in real-world scenarios, we have something that will make learning a joyous experience for every student.

1. Soft Skills Camp (Grades 6-9)

Duration: 2 Weeks

Theme: Analytical Thinking – Navigating Complexity

This program nurtures intellectual curiosity and critical thinking through subjects such as science, technology, literature, and business. Students will develop problem-solving skills and boost creativity through interactive activities and interdisciplinary learning.
Key Outcomes:- Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills.- Cultivate curiosity across diverse academic fields.- Enhance teamwork and communication.

2. Confident Speakers Camp (Ages 6-15)

Duration: 6 Weeks
This camp helps young learners build confidence in public speaking through engaging activities, storytelling, and drama. Students will enhance their communication skills and learn to speak with confidence in various situations, from casual conversations to formal presentations.

Key Outcomes:

Build confidence in public speaking.
Practice storytelling, debates, and presentations.
Participate in weekly themed activities and outdoor experiences.

3. Confident Communicators Camp (Secondary & High School)

Duration: 2 Weeks (09/06/2025 - 20/06/2025)

Designed for secondary and high school students, the Confident Communicators Camp enhances skills in business communication, journalism, public speaking, and Model United Nations (MUN). Through engaging, real-world activities, students will develop soft skills such as negotiation, persuasion, and active listening. The camp will also feature sessions on effective writing, media literacy, and presentation skills.

Key Outcomes:

Improve communication skills in various settings.
Develop essential soft skills such as negotiation and public speaking.
Participate in MUN, debates, and business pitch activities.
