House System

Our House System infuses Horizon life with pride, identity, and a strong sense of belonging. Every student and staff member is assigned to one of four Houses, creating cross-grade, cross-cultural communities within the school. This system ensures that everyone feels included and part of a larger, supportive community.

Houses compete throughout the year in academics, sports, arts, service, and citizenship challenges. From science quizzes to sports tournaments, charity drives to talent shows, House events equally cultivate school spirit and friendly rivalry.

The House System is student-led, with House Captains and student committees organizing events and campaigns. This leadership model not only nurtures communication, planning, and accountability skills but also gives students a chance to shape school culture and develop a voice that is heard and respected, empowering them to make a positive impact on their school community.

More than just competition, the House System reinforces our values of teamwork, empathy, and perseverance. Older students mentor younger peers, and House points reward positive behaviors like kindness, effort, and respect.
